The Cultural Shift
Our programmes help organisations move:
Awareness → Action
Employees don't just understand racism; they develop practical skills to recognise and respond to it.
Silence → Cultural courage
Employees develop a shared language and greater confidence to talk about race, challenge behaviour and have conversations that might previously have been avoided.
Good intentions → Accountability
Leaders and teams become clearer about their responsibilities and how to respond when racism is experienced or reported.
Responsibility sitting with a few → Shared responsibility
Anti-racism becomes everyone's responsibility, rather than something carried by HR, EDI teams or Global Majority colleagues alone.
Values on paper → Values people experience
Organisations become better at recognising the gap between their stated values and employees' lived experiences, and taking action to address it.
What this can mean for your organisation
Together, these shifts can strengthen psychological safety, confidence in reporting and responding to racism, trust in leadership and employees' sense of belonging.
Building on Existing EDI Practice
The Anti-Racist School builds on strong equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) practice by focusing specifically on racism and racial inequity, turning awareness and good intentions into action, accountability and changes in everyday behaviour.
Inclusion
Creating workplaces where employees feel welcomed, represented and able to belong.
↓
Equity
Recognising and addressing the different barriers employees face, including systemic racial inequity.

An Active Anti-Racist Culture
Building the confidence and capability to recognise and challenge racism.
Changing everyday behaviours and systems.
Addressing specific barriers, including institutional racism and bias in pay or promotion.
Centring the lived experiences of Global Majority employees and supporting their care and wellbeing.
Designer instruction: Please consider presenting these three stages as a simple visual progression, showing how an active anti-racist culture builds on inclusion and equity.
We Don't Tick Boxes
A one-off workshop can start a conversation, but it cannot shift culture on its own.
We work with organisations ready to invest in the lasting change needed to build an anti-racist workplace. That means listening to lived experience, building knowledge and confidence, giving leaders and teams opportunities to practise what they've learnt, and measuring how behaviours and experiences change over time.
Every organisation is different, so our programmes reflect your needs, size and starting point.
For small businesses and SMEs
We can combine leadership mentoring with a modular programme tailored to your team, where you're starting from and the changes you want to achieve.
For larger organisations
We design longer-term Anti-Racist Culture programmes, typically delivered over one to three years. These may combine:
Leadership development.
Employee learning.
Global Majority employee networks.
Internal Anti-Racism Champions.
Train the Trainer sessions.
Digital toolkits to embed change.
Ongoing measurement and evaluation.
Different scale. Same principle.
An anti-racist culture becomes part of your values, everyday behaviours and organisational culture.
What Shapes Our Approach
Lived experience is expertise
We centre the lived experiences of Global Majority employees, not simply as anecdotal feedback, but as valuable insight into what is happening within an organisation and its culture.
We make difficult conversations possible
We bring an independent, trusted voice and specialist expertise to conversations that can be difficult to facilitate from within an organisation.
We make anti-racist culture practical
Education matters, but people also need to know what to do. Our programmes equip teams with practical tools they can use in everyday situations.
We care about what happens afterwards
Success isn't measured by attendance alone. It means understanding whether employees feel safer speaking up, whether colleagues respond differently, whether leaders take action and whether employee experiences improve over time.
We Meet You Wherever You Are
You don't need to have all the answers to begin.
We start by listening: understanding where your organisation is now, what your people are experiencing and where the gaps may lie.
From there, we recommend the right framework and support, from focused leadership support for smaller teams to longer-term, organisation-wide cultural change programmes.
The starting point isn't about proving you're an anti-racist organisation. It's about being prepared to recognise where you still have work to do, and having the courage to act.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
Building an anti-racist culture starts with a willingness to listen, learn and act.
Whether you're looking for focused leadership support or a longer-term organisational programme, we can help you identify the right starting point.
