    Naomi Evans

    CO-FOUNDER / FACILITATOR

    Naomi is an experienced educator with over 18 years of experience teaching English and Drama in UK state schools.

    Her career has included senior leadership, Head of Department, and Advanced Skills Teacher roles, and she has made significant contributions to curriculum development and teacher training.

    Currently, Naomi teaches in a large secondary school in Kent while also serving as the co-founder and Director of Education for Everyday Racism. Leveraging her extensive educational background, she crafts accessible and impactful learning opportunities addressing race and identity.

    Naomi’s expertise in curriculum development and teacher training is pivotal in creating specific anti-racism courses.

    Committed to building a more equitable society, her leadership and dedication to anti-racism continue to inspire positive change in the field of education.

    Natalie Evans

    CO-FOUNDER / FACILITATOR

    Natalie is a highly experienced event manager, presenter, and youth worker with a passion for promoting equality and justice.

    With over 10 years of event management experience, Natalie has successfully organised and hosted events of all sizes, from small workshops to large conferences with hundreds of attendees.

    As well as being a dedicated youth worker for nearly 12 years, she Is commitment to empowering young people.

    Today, Natalie serves as the co-founder and Director of Operations for Everyday Racism. In this role, she leverages her expertise in event management, youth work, and leadership to create accessible learning opportunities and empower individuals to make a difference in their communities. Through her work, Natalie is dedicated to creating a more equitable and just society.

    Joy Mbakwe

    Facilitator

    Joy Mbakwe is an educator, speaker and consultant, using courageous conversations as a catalyst for cultural shifts. She began her career as a Teaching Assistant, quickly discovering her passion for transforming learning environments.

    With a PGCE in English and Drama from UCL, Joy rose to Head of English and then Assistant Headteacher within five years, leading on community and culture. Her work spans curriculum redesign, media contributions and brand collaborations.

    Now consulting across schools and organisations, Joy brings honesty, insight and bold ambition to every space committed to growth and impact.

  • Benjy Kusi

    Facilitator

    Benjy is a British-Ghanaian inclusion and wellbeing consultant based in London. He helps organisations and individuals across the UK and internationally create environments where everyone can thrive.

    He has built a community of more than 250,000 people on social media, where he produces educational content on anti-racism, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and wellbeing.

    Benjy is also the author of Hope This Helps: How to Be Kinder to Yourself and Others published in 2023. His mission is to equip and empower people to make a positive difference in their own lives and in the lives of others.

    Shaun Flores

    Facilitator

    Shaun is a mental health advocate, TEDx speaker, and writer dedicated to shattering the stigma surrounding neurodiversity and masculinity. Diagnosed with OCD and ADHD following a severe mental health crisis, Shaun channeled his recovery into a mission to improve mental health outcomes for marginalised communities.

    He holds an MA in Race, Media & Social Justice, giving him a unique academic and lived perspective on the intersection of mental health and systemic inequality.

    Shaun works with major organisations, including the NHS and global corporations, to facilitate honest, transformative conversations about resilience, identity, and the power of vulnerability.
